All Are Welcome!

Good hymns, short sermons, soft chairs, frequent potlucks

We are a pretty casual and fairly new community of faith in Indianola, yet a church with spiritual roots and living traditions at least 500 years old that are now being practiced by 85 million Christians worldwide.  We recite profound prayers from ages past that are amazingly contemporary.  We draw upon the rich legacy of our useable past with varied forms of weekly worship that bring meaning and inspiration to our lives, and we practice our ancient faith by maintaining personal commitments to Christian hospitality, prayer, care for creation, works of mercy, acts of justice, and peacemaking. These timeless spiritual practices renew us and help us lead lives of commitment in a complex world, while also keeping us humble and open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Come visit and experience God's love for you, and our love for each other! Come join us as we explore God's purpose in our lives and in our world, always inspired by the life of Jesus! Come taste and see that God is good here at All Saints!

Worship Together

Worship Together

Imagine being part of a faith community that comes to know and love you as you are. Imagine being warmly greeted each time you step through the door. Imagine a casual and comfortable circle of chairs and a small group where you belong, where you are encouraged to speak what is on your mind and heart with no fear and no judgment. Imagine being part of a faithful group of friends who are being formed and then sent into the world to love and serve the Lord. If you can imagine that, you have found All Saints!

Grow Together

Grow Together

We start by accepting each other for who we are, but then we slowly begin to realize together that God is mysteriously at work in each of our lives. We are one thing now, but are slowly being formed into the likeness of Jesus day by day. It is a precious thing to experience a community of support as we journey through life, as we ask our big questions, take our bumps along the way, expand our capacity to love and be loved, and learn to serve something much larger than ourselves. This is All Saints!

Serve Together

Serve Together

A "saint" is not a stained glass image of perfection, but actually anyone who commits to following Jesus through baptism. That's how we become part of the church, which is the "body of Christ" in our time and place. Every week we are sent out to "do the work we've been given to do," by making a difference in this world through our daily vocations and as volunteers who serve in many capacities. As we say each Sunday, "Our worship has ended, and our service has begun." That, too, is All Saints!
